Two timing rules worth knowing.
Experiences and local transport follow different time periods. Understanding that distinction makes planning easy.
One day of use per overnight stay
For three nights, you have three days of use. You decide whether to use your arrival or departure day as an experience day. Each included attraction may be used once per stay; several different benefits can be used on one day.
Until the end of departure day
For local public transport, the card is valid from your arrival at the accommodation, on every day of your stay and throughout your departure day. Your initial journey to check-in is not included.

Three ideas for your stay.
Waterfall and thermal spa
Choose a suitable route to Uracher Wasserfall in the morning, then unwind at AlbThermen. The waterfall is freely accessible; the specific spa admission is the AlbCard benefit.
Castle and timber framing
Visit the Residenzschloss with your AlbCard, then walk through the market square and timber-framed lanes. A compact day without long distances between stops.
Castle or cave
Choose Schloss Lichtenstein with a guided tour or a reserved boat trip in Wimsener Höhle as your main destination. Check transport and opening times beforehand, then plan your evening at Karl’s.
UNDERSTANDING THE ALBCARD

What does the AlbCard cost?
Nothing. The Vier Jahreszeiten gives holiday guests the personal AlbCard from the first night. It cannot be purchased separately.
How many usage days do I have for experiences?
One usage day is available per overnight stay. You choose whether to use the card for experiences on the arrival or departure day.
How long is the AlbCard valid in public local transport?
It is valid for buses and trains from the day of arrival at the accommodation, on all stay days, and additionally on the entire departure day. The journey to the first check-in is not included.
Can I visit an attraction multiple times?
Each included attraction can be used once per stay. Multiple different services on the same day are possible.
Do children also receive a card?
Children aged 6 to 15 receive a youth card, and those aged 16 and over receive an adult card. Children under 5 do not receive their own card and are free with an adult card holder for suitable services.
Do I need to book experiences?
Booking is necessary or sensible for some partners, such as limited guided tours or boat trips. Check the partner link before your visit.
Is the AlbCard transferable?
No. Each card is personal and non-transferable. In groups, each entitled person receives their own card.
Does the AlbCard apply to groups?
Yes. For more than eight people, prior registration at the attraction is mandatory. Individually arranged tours are not included.
How do I get the digital card?
After booking, you will receive an invitation to the digital AlbCard. It runs as a web app and does not need to be installed from an app store.

The official AlbCard website and the information provided by the respective experience partner are binding. Opening hours, seasonality, and possible surcharges may change.
